ProGuard Exteriors were contacted by Royal Bucks Hospital to help improve the energy efficiency in a number of their private wings. ProGuard was recommended by EWI Pro as one of their approved installers.

Overview

Following an initial survey and assessment, it was determined that the hospital would benefit from a full window replacement as well as external wall insulation. The existing mix of old aluminium and wooden windows, together with outdated external cladding, meant the building would benefit from a more modern and compliant external envelope.

Window Replacement: Removed and replaced all old aluminium and wooden windows with triple glazed UPVC windows.

Cladding Removal: Removed the old, non-compliant external cladding as part of the upgrade works.

External Wall Insulation System: Installed a 120mm Rockwool external wall insulation system, finished with a silicone render.
